Have you ever searched the internet for something to watch, then after awhile find something interesting; hit play and get the message “THIS CONTENT IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE”. This is called geo-blocking and can be really frustrating, however there is a solution.
Geo-blocking is how content providers deal with broadcasting on the internet when they don’t have the rights for your country. They simply look up your IP address and if it’s in a country they don’t have rights for you get blocked. The solution is finding a VPN provider that has servers located in a country that’s allowed access. VPN’s work because all your traffic is encrypted then sent via the VPN server and then to the website. From the prospective of the website you live in the country of whatever VPN server your connected to resides in.
